The Institute of International Business and Governance (IIBG) of The Open University of Hong Kong welcomes you to the 4th Academia-Industry Exchange “International Business, Innovation & Governance: Shaping the Futures of Smart Economy”, to be held on 6 & 7 December 2019 in Hong Kong. This multidisciplinary forum has been widely acclaimed for its contributions to the dialogues between the academia and industry practitioners, meanwhile laying down various research agendas in international business, innovation and governance.
We invite competitive papers and posters which respond to the theme of the symposium. The symposium sub-themes, for both competitive sessions and poster sessions, are as follows:
- Big Data
- Corporate Governance, Accountability and Ethics
- Digital Business
- eSports
- Fintech
- Healthcare
- Ideation and Innovation
- Innovation for Sustainability
- Sustainable Tourism
Submission Guidelines
Competitive sessions are for well-developed research work. Authors have to submit extended abstracts for presentation in the competitive sessions. Once the extended abstracts are accepted for presentation, authors must submit full papers for consideration of publications.
Poster sessions are for research work that is at an early stage of development. They allow researchers to engage in constructive discussion with other knowledgeable researchers in the field. Authors have to submit abstracts for presentation in the poster sessions.
All submissions will go through a double-blinded review process. Please submit your blinded manuscript with NO author details. Accepted papers will ultimately be allocated to either a competitive session or a poster session after considering suggestions of referees.
