2nd International Conference on Geospatial Information Sciences www.iGISc.org
The International Conference on Geospatial Information Sciences (iGISc) aims to bring together international experts in the field of Geospatial Information Sciences (GISc) to foster the exchange of ideas, knowledge and experiences. The conference hosts a broad array of subjects related to the acquisition, processing, modeling, analysis, visualization, and use of Geographic Information.
Submissions will be evaluated based on the relevance of its contribution to the field of Geospatial Information Sciences, its clarity, and its originality. Accepted papers will be published in a Conference Proceedings Volume with an ISBN and ISSN.
Submission Guidelines: Full Papers and Showcase Papers
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome: Full papers and Showcase Papers. Full papers are intended for oral presentation in the main conference session while Showcase Papers will be included in a special session. Only Full Papers will be included in the conference proceedings. Showcase Papers will be published as an online resource.
- All papers will be double-blind peer reviewed by members of the scientific committee to ensure:
- that the paper is relevant to the iGISc Conference and to the GISc area,
- that the papers is an original work or a work in progress,
- that the paper is of suitable length and format,
- that the standard of English is adequate, and
- that the paper is appropriately referenced.
- Full Papers must not exceed 5000 words in length, including abstract, figures, references and appendices for a total of 10 pages.
- Showcase Papers must not exceed 2500 words in length, including abstract, figures, references and appendices for a total of 5 pages.
- Papers must be submitted according to templates provided in the Author’s Guide section in the conference website. Templates for Word and LaTex are provided.
- The file format for submissions is Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF). Other formats will not be accepted.
- You should not modify any of the formatting commands in the style files.
- References should follow the referencing style provided in the templates.
- Accepted Full Papers will be published in the conference proceedings* provided at least one author completes registration (including payment)**. Authors will be required to make an oral presentation through a Video Conference platform designated by the conference. Pre-recorded presentations may be played at the event in the event a live presentation is not possible.
- Accepted Showcase Papers will be published online.
- If multiple papers are accepted for publication and presentation by the same author, each paper requires a registration fee to be included in the proceedings**.
* The conference proceedings is a book published with an ISBN and ISSN.

Submission Guidelines: Posters
All posters must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another conference. All posters will be double-blind peer reviewed by members of the scientific committee to ensure that:
- The poster is relevant to the iGISc Conference and to GISc themes
- The posters are an original work or a work in progress
- The use of English is adequate and the poster is appropriately referenced.
- Poster submission format is A0 (84.1 x 118.9 cm), freestyle in Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF). Other formats will not be accepted.
Accepted posters require at least one author to complete registration and cover the associated fee to obtain the certificate of assistance. Authors will be required to attend an online poster session and interact with conference participants through an online platform.
