IEEE ICA-ACCA 2022 will bring together researchers and practitioners from the area of automation in order to update and analyze the advances and trends in the technologies that are currently being developed on in the different control systems and their applications.
Continuing with the great success achieved at the XXIV Congress of the Chilean ACCA Automatic Control Association (IEEE ICA-ACCA 2020 Congress), the IEEE ICA-ACCA 2022, in this opportunity the XXV Congress of the Chilean Association of Automatic Control will be virtual, from Chile, in October 24-28, 2022. All the papers presented at the conference will be submitted to IEEE Xplore. You can find more information about IEEE ICA-ACCA 2022 at http://control automatico.org/ica_acca2022.
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. Submit full paper until October 31, 2020, in accordance to the rules:
- Initial submission; manuscript for review and proceedings publication:
- Full Papers Submission must be done via EasyChair: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=ieeeicaacca2022.
- The manuscript must be prepared using Microsoft Word or LaTeX templates available at the webpage: https://controlautomatico.org/ica_acca2022/submission-guidelines.
- After the conference, all the presented papers will be included in Proceedings of ICA/ACCA2022 and will be submitted to IEEE Xplore.
- Submit Extended versions publication after conference:
- Some selected high-quality papers will be published as extended versions in Journals (ISI/WoS and Scielo Journals).

- Speaker 1: Marco Mora
- Topic:Introducción a las Redes Neuronales de Aprendizaje Extremo (in Spanish)
- Marco Mora received the B.S. degree in Electronics Engineering and the M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Department of Electrical Engineering, Universidad de Concepción, Concepción, Chile, in 1998 and 2004, respectively; and the Ph.D in Computer Science from Polytechnical National Institute of Toulouse (INPT), University of Toulouse, Toulouse, France, in 2008. He is a Full Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Industry at Universidad Católica del Maule, Talca, Chile. He is Head and Senior Researcher of the Laboratory of Technological Research in Pattern Recognition (LITRP), Universidad Católica del Maule. His research interests are digital image processing, neural networks, biometrics, and industrial applications of pattern recognition.
- Speaker 2: Márcio J. Lacerda
- Topic: Control design for cyber-physical systems under attacks (in English)
- Márcio J. Lacerda received his D.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Campinas, UNICAMP, Brazil, in 2014. He has held postdoctoral research positions at UNICAMP, and at the Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics Department, University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, USA. From October 2012 to April 2013 he was a visitor in the Laboratoire d’Analyse et d’Architecture des Systèmes, Toulouse, France. Currently, he is a professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Federal University of São João del-Rei, UFSJ, Brazil, which he joined in 2016. He serves as an Associate Editor for IEEE Latin America Transactions and Mathematical Problems in Engineering. He also served as a Guest Editor for the Journal of the Franklin Institute, Special Issue on “High Fidelity LPV systems under constraints”. His main research interests include constrained control, switched systems, and cyber-physical systems.
- Speaker 3: David Hernández
- Topic: An Automatic Approach to UAV Flight Planning and Control for Photogrammetric Applications: A Test Case in Asturias Region (Spain).
- David Hernández was graduated as Technical Engineer in Topography in 1991 from the UPV and then Engineer in Geodesy and Cartography in 1996 from the UPV, obtaining in both the first extraordinary national degree award. Subsequently, he received his Doctor of Engineering degree in Geodesy and Cartography from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Spain, at the end of 1999. He has held applied research positions at German Weber SA (in 1991) and at Servicios de Ingeniería Geográfica, SL: Madrid , between the years 1992 and 1994. At the end of 1994 he entered the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Valencian Community, Spain, obtaining the position of Full Professor of the University School in 1999, and remained there until 2006, when he moved to the University of Castilla-La Mancha: Albacete, where he has worked until now as Full Professor in the Department of Geological and Mining Engineering of the University of Castilla-La Mancha, Albacete, Spain. He is a member of the research groups “Agroforestry and Cartographic Precision, (PAFyC)”, of the UCLM, and of the “The Geomatic Technologies for the 3D digitization and modeling of complex objects (TIDOP) of the USAL. Currently, his main line of research focuses on software development in the fields of LiDAR, photogrammetry, computer vision, and direct orientation and positioning systems. He is a member of the Regional Development Institute of the University of Castilla-La Mancha (IDR-UCLM) within the Agroforestry and Cartographic Precision Section. He is also a representative of the UCLM in the Cartographic Coordination Commission of the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha. He has more than 50 publications indexed in the last 10 years, with more than 250 associated citations.
