ICSCI 2023: 4th International Conference on Smart City Innovation 2023 Hilton Hotel Bali, Indonesia, October 23-25, 2023

Today the Smart City has emerged as one possible answer to the emergent problems of urbanization in the 21st century. It joins a multitude of concepts and ideas that address daily life in the postindustrial world of informational capitalism –the sustainable city, the creative city, the green city, and the livable city – and the Smart City that now seems to resonate with urban administrations and urban designers worldwide. In fact, the Smart City concept is firmly dedicated to the usage of technological advancement to find solutions for the city's complex problems and enhance people's quality of life.

Bringing the success story of the previous ICSCI in Bandung (2018), Semarang (2019), and Bali (2020), the 4th International Conference will be held in Bali, Indonesia. It will be conducted by SMART CITY Universitas Indonesia. The conference is expected to provide opportunities to exchange new ideas and research experiences on the theme of a Smart and Sustainable City.

The conference will invite keynote speakers with international reputations and scholars/professionals from universities, governments, private sectors, and other institutions who are interested to disseminate their research papers on the topics of Smart and Sustainable City. 

Submission Guidelines

All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:

• Fullpaper Presentations
• Oral Posters

​​​​​​​The submitted fullpaper (eight A4 pages) must be written in English. It should provide the objective of the study, the methods, the results, and the discussions.
