International Computer Symposium (ICS 2026) will be held in National Taipei University of Nursing and Health Sciences, Taipei, Taiwan during October 29-31, 2026. ICS is one of the largest joint international IT symposiums held in Taiwan. Founded in 1973, it is intended to provide a forum for researchers, educators, and professionals to exchange their discoveries and practices, and to explore future trends and applications in computer technologies. The biennial symposium offers a great opportunity to share research experiences and to discuss potential new trends in the IT industry.

ICS 2026 focuses on AI-enabled computing, intelligent information technologies, and their emerging applications. The conference aims to provide an international forum for researchers and practitioners to present advances in artificial intelligence and intelligent computing, as well as their integration with data analytics, networking and communication systems, IoT and edge computing, cybersecurity, software and information systems, and emerging smart applications. ICS 2026 particularly encourages research that advances intelligent and AI-enabled technologies, develops the computing and communication infrastructure needed to support such technologies, or demonstrates their innovative applications in real-world environments.

Submission Guidelines

The proceedings of ICS 2026 will be published by Springer in the Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS) series.

All accepted papers included in the proceedings will undergo a rigorous peer-review process and must meet the scientific and editorial standards required by the conference and Springer.

Authors of accepted papers will be required to submit their camera-ready manuscripts using the Springer LNCS/CCIS formatting guidelines and complete the required publication documentation.

At least one author of each accepted paper must register for the conference and present the paper onsite.

The maximum length of the submission (including references, but excluding the optional appendix) is 12 pages. Proofs omitted due to space constraints must be placed in an appendix to be read by the program committee members at their discretion. Submissions that deviate from these guidelines risk being rejected without consideration of their merits. Submission is through the EasyChair conference system. The submission process requires registration to create an EasyChair account prior to submission.
