Submission deadline | June 5, 2017 |
This is the 10th in a series of International Conference on Information Theoretic Security (ICITS) which will be held in Hong Kong, China, on November 29 – December 2, 2017.
ICITS is an international conference which deals with all aspects of information-theoretic security and brings together the leading researchers in the areas of cryptography, information theory and quantum information. It is the successor conference to the 2005 IEEE Information-Theory Workshop on Theory and Practice in Information Theoretic Security (ITW 2005) in Awaji Island, Japan. The information about the previous ICITS is as follows: 2nd ICITS in Madrid, Spain (ICITS 2007), 3rd ICITS in Calgary, Canada (ICITS 2008), 4th ICITS in Shizuoka, Japan (ICITS 2009), 5th ICITS in Amsterdam, The Netherlands (ICITS 2011), 6th ICITS in Montreal, Canada (ICITS 2012), 7th ICITS in Singapore (ICITS 2013), 8th ICITS in Lugano, Switzerland (ICITS 2015), 9th ICITS in Tacoma, Washington, USA (ICITS 2016).
Submission Guidelines
As the goal of ICITS is to bring together researchers on all aspects of information theoretic security, it consists of the following two tracks with different types of contributed presentations.
Conference Track (with proceedings): Submissions to this track must be original papers that have not previously appeared in published form. Accepted papers will be presented at the conference and will appear in the conference proceedings. The proceedings will be published by Springer-Verlag in its Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) Series.
Workshop Track (no proceedings): To encourage presentation of work from a variety of fields, the committee also solicits “workshop track” papers. Accepted papers will be presented orally at the conference but will not appear in the proceedings. Submissions to this track that have previously appeared (or are currently submitted elsewhere) are acceptable. Papers that describe work in progress are also welcome. We note that the same standards of quality will apply to conference and workshop papers.
ICITS 2017 deals with all aspects of information theoretic security, from relevant mathematical tools to theoretical modeling to implementation. Papers on all technical aspects of these topics are solicited for submission. Areas of interest for ICITS2017 include, but are not restricted to:
