- to provide an overview of the state-of-the-art of the ongoing research in statistical learning and data science,
- to contribute to forming a critical mass of researchers and practitioners in statistical learning and data science,
- to involve students and young researchers in scientific outreach activities,
- and to enrich the interdisciplinary dialogue between theory and application at a national and international level. The conference is an in-person conference, although some sessions will be streamed virtually in hybrid sessions.
Complete information can be found at https://www.icds2023.cl.
Submission Guidelines
The Scientific Program Committee of the ICDS20023 invites to submit proposals for Invited Paper Sessions, Contributed Abstracts and Posters in all areas of statistical learning and data science. Authors are requested to submit IPS, CA, or Posters in the Easychair platform https://easychair.org/my/conference?conf=icds2023.
- An Invited Paper Session should include an organizer and 3 to 4 abstracts.
- An abstract for oral or poster presentation should be at most 200 words.
- A session presentation is about 80 mins.
- All sessions will take place in parallel.
- Each presenting author is responsible for submitting its abstract. When corresponding, please do not forget to add the title of the IPS, and the name and affiliation of the IPS organizer.
The conference is an in-person conference, although some sessions will be streamed virtually. The official language is English. All participants are expected to adhere to the ISI Community Principles and Conduct Policy (https://www.isi-web.org/about/policies/community-conduct).
Authors with accepted abstracts at ICDS2023 are invited to submit a full paper to the Special Issue on Data Science in Business and Industry of Applied Stochastic Models in Business and Industry (ASMBI). ASMBI is the official journal of the International Society for Business and Industrial Statistics (ISBIS). Submissions are possible until January 30, 2024. The Call for Paper is available at https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/journal/15264025.
