ICBHI 2022: International Conference on Biomedical and Health Informatics 2022 Concepcion, Chile, November 24-26, 2022

ICBHI 2022 is the International Conference on Biomedical and Health Informatics, usually scheduled every 2 years. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it had to be delayed to 2022. The previous version, ICBHI 2019, was held in Taipei, Taiwan, 17-20 April 2019.

We expect ICBHI 2022 will be an opportunity to exchange ideas, experiences and lessons learned after being hit with the worst pandemic in the last century. Biomedical and Health informatics has definitively played a key role on different fronts, from medical care to contact tracing.

ICBHI 2022 is a conference co-sponsored by IFMBE and ACHISA.

Submission Guidelines

All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference.

All submissions will be peer-reviewed by three reviewers.

All accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings, and will be published by Springer. Publication in proceedings is conditioned to the registration and presentation of the paper at the conference by one of their authors. If the paper is not presented at the conference it will not be included in the proceedings.

Publication of Proceedings

Selected authors of papers presented at the conference will be invited to submit 4-page papers for publication in the ICBHI 2022 proceedings of the IFMBE Proceedings Series. The IFMBE Proceedings series is an official publication of the International Federation for Medical and Biological Engineering (http://www.springer.com/series/7403).

Language and template:

English is the official language for all submitted papers. Submissions should contain original work, not published or under consideration for publication elsewhere. The final paper should follow the IFMBE proceedings format with 4 pages. Download the template.

All authors must comply with Springer’s ethical policies andinclude statements in their manuscripts declaring whether there are any conflicts of interest in theirpaper. Papers will not be published without these statements.
