iCAST2020: The 11th International Conference on Awareness Science and Technology Academic Exchange Center, 8 Hongdao Road Qingdao, China, December 7-9, 2020

The 11^th International Conference on Awareness Science and Technology (iCAST 2020) is a major international conference to bring together researchers, engineers, and scientists from academia and industry working in awareness science and its applications, for discussion, exchanging ideas, opinions, and most importantly to present their works and latest results. 

This iCAST conference series started from the International Workshop on Aware Computing (IWAC 2009) held in Aizu-Wakamatsu, Japan, extended as the International Symposium on Aware Computing (ISAC 2010) held in Tainan, Taiwan, and became the current conference name, iCAST, from the third conference. Since then, iCAST 2011, iCAST 2012, iCAST 2013, iCAST 2014, iCAST2015, iCAST2017, iCAST2018 and iCAST2019 have been held in China, Korea, Japan, France, China, Taiwan, Japan and Japan, respectively.

We welcome your participation and contribution to the iCAST 2020 to be held at the Ocean University of China, Qingdao, China in December 7 - 9, 2020.

Submission Guidelines

You are welcome to present your latest works on awareness science, technology, and awareness related applications. Submitted papers must be in a PDF format and should be original, unpublished, and not be under submission to other conferences or journals. The page limit for a full-length paper is 6 pages, but max. 8 pages are acceptable with extra page charge for the 7th and 8th pages. Papers with less than 4 pages or more than 8 pages will not be reviewed and may be rejected.

• Electronic version of full paper (IEEE format, A4 six-page standard include figures and tables) complete with authors’ affiliations should be submitted through official site.

Publication

All accepted papers will be sent to IEEE Xplore digital library. As the same as last iCAST 2019, we expect the iCAST 2020 proceedings to be published by IEEE Xplore subject to fulfilling of all quality requirements of IEEE. Selected papers will be recommended for post-conference publication in some Science Citation Index Expanded, Ei, or Scopus journals. We cordially invite you to submit your latest research results on awareness computing and to take part in the iCAST 2020 held in Qingdao, China.
