Join World Innovators, for Shaping the Imaging Eco-System and Generating New Value

Printing has attracted human intellectual evolution since Gutenberg’s invention far before the industrial revolution. The printing technologies have been continuously expanding its fields with surrounding technologies not only to marking on medias but also to digital fabrication and the imaging technology field has been constructed. Imaging must be continuously developing since it is humans’ nature, “expression”. Now, the different imaging culture is found in each geographic area in the world. On the other hand, in other words, global-scale Imaging Eco-system is now ready for building. Therefore, it has important meanings that the conference is held in Asia in corporation with European and American imaging technologies and cultures. Now we will have the fourth around of ICAI in 2021 collocated with Print4Fab2021. We will confirm again the technology and the culture developments across the geographic areas. Let us make new values in Chiba, Japan.

Submission Guidelines

Original technical contributions on imaging technologies are invited. Suggested topics include those listed on “Program Topics” on the conference website. Authors may choose either an oral presentation or an interactive (poster) presentation.

Submit a Technical Summary (1~2 pages Extended Abstract) for acceptance review. Reviewers will judge the acceptance of the paper. Author will be notified of the results of their Technical Summary review via e-mail. Upon acceptance of the paper, the authors will prepare a camera-ready manuscript to be published in the conference proceeding.

Speaker: Mr. Kazuo Satomi. Executive Managing Director of Japan Printing Machinery Association
Contents: Speaker proposes what the “Imaging Eco-system” is. "Imaging Eco-system“ is placed, on key concept for Print4Fab/ICAI2020, as is a leading engine for future imaging field progress. This concept is not only applying basic technologies for imaging ( IJ, EP, etc.,) to uses for workplaces, printing and fabrication effectively and creatively, but also assimilating each geographic characteristic functionally. Speaker provides integrative and unified concept as “Imaging Eco-system”, which generates imaging new values .

2. Printing in Asian Trend Related Talk (ICAI)

Speaker: Professor Aran Hansuebsai, Department of Imaging and Printing Technology, Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University
Contents: Introductions of current peculiar Asian printing technologies and cultures with society backgrounds. And talk on their future trends, and new printing value building in Asia if possible.

Speaker Candidate: Yury Gogotsi, professor at Drexel University, Philadelphia, PA
Contents: MXene chemistry and printed electronics applications of MXenes.

ICAI2021 proceedings will be published in October.
