About
The 9th International Conference on Industrial AI (IAI2027) invites researchers, industry professionals, technology developers, and practitioners to submit their latest research, innovations, applications, and industrial experiences in the field of Industrial Artificial Intelligence.
Artificial Intelligence is rapidly changing how industrial assets and systems are designed, operated, maintained, and managed. From intelligent asset management and predictive maintenance to digital twins, autonomous analytics, and human-AI collaboration, Industrial AI is creating new opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, safety, resilience, and sustainability.
At the same time, moving AI from promising research to dependable industrial application presents significant challenges. Data quality, cybersecurity, system integration, scalability, trust, organisational readiness, and the interaction between people and intelligent systems are increasingly important as AI becomes embedded in industrial operations.
IAI2027 provides an international forum for addressing these opportunities and challenges together.
The conference brings academia and industry together to exchange knowledge, present recent advances, discuss practical experiences, and build collaborations that can accelerate the responsible and effective application of AI in industry.
Submission Guidelines
Authors are invited to submit an abstract describing the purpose, approach, key contribution, and relevance of their proposed paper.
All abstracts will be peer-reviewed by the IAI2027 Scientific Committee. Authors of accepted abstracts will be invited to submit a full paper (academic) or extended abstract (industry).
Submissions must present original work and must not be simultaneously submitted to another conference or publication.
Detailed submission instructions, paper templates, publication information, and the submission link will be announced shortly.

Why IAI2027?
IAI2027 is more than an academic conference. It is a meeting place for the people developing Industrial AI and the people putting it to work.
Participants will have opportunities to:
- Present and discuss new research and industrial applications
- Learn from real-world Industrial AI implementations
- Exchange experiences across industries and disciplines
- Connect with international researchers, companies, and technology developers
- Explore opportunities for new research and industry collaborations
The programme will include technical sessions, keynote presentations, industry-focused discussions, networking opportunities, and social activities.
And because IAI2027 takes place in Luleå in Swedish Lapland in early June, participants can also experience the long days and distinctive northern environment of one of Europe's most active regions for industrial transformation.
Venue
The conference will be held at Clarion Hotel in Luleå, Sweden.
