The GSMAC 2018 Conference organized by the Griffiths School of Management at Emanuel University of Oradea will explore the theme of Business Ethics and Entrepreneurship.
After 100 years of the Great Union, the Emanuel University of Oradea invites you to the GSMAC 2018 Conference organized by the Griffiths School of Management at Emanuel University of Oradea will explore the theme of Business Ethics and Entrepreneurship.
In emerging economies, entrepreneurship is oftentimes associated with a negative image and entrepreneurs are seen in a detrimental light. While these assumptions have their foundations, it is important to underline the importance that entrepreneurship has in the development of an economy and the success of a company. Ethical decisions are a significant part of an organization and ethical behavior impacts organizational culture. Beyond the moral aspects associated with business ethics, companies that practice ethical demeanor have an increase in profitability due to the fact that investors, employees and consumers seek out companies that engage in fair practices.
Relevant questions addressing these issues would include:
-
How does ethics impact the business and entrepreneurship world?
-
What are the advantages of ethical behavior in the development of enterprises?
-
How can entrepreneurs support the optimization of ethical decisions in their businesses?
-
In what ways can companies assure ethical behavior in their employees?
We would like to invite academic papers coming from practitioners and researchers from around the world to explore the various dimensions of these aspects. We welcome theory-based and empirical studies grounded both in qualitative or quantitative methodology as well as conceptual contributions. The conference provides a platform for academics and practitioners in the field of business, management, public administration and sociology to tackle new approaches to business ethics and entrepreneurship.
