GeoCart'2018: NZ Cartographic Conference
Cartographies of Change: Then, Now and Tomorrow
The 9th National Cartographic Conference, GeoCart’2018, will convene from 5-7 September 2018.
It will be held at the outstanding facilities of the National Library of New Zealand in the ‘Coolest Little Capital in the World’ – Wellington, New Zealand. GeoCart’2018 is jointly organised by the New Zealand Cartographic Society and the Australian and New Zealand Map Society.
Abstract Submission Guidelines
The Organising Committee and Programme Committee invites authors to submit abstracts of up to 1500 words to the GeoCart’2018 Conference via the EasyChair website. There are three categories of submission:
- Professional abstracts for oral presentation
- Professional abstracts for oral presentation
- Professional or Research abstracts for poster presentation
Important dates, including deadlines, are as follows:
- Deadline for submissions: 11th May 2018
- Decisions relayed to authors (oral / poster / reject): 8th June 2018
- Submission of revised abstract: 29th June 2018
- Pre-conference workshops: 3rd - 4th September 2018
- GeoCart'2018 conference: 5th - 7th September 2018

The conference will be held in the National Library of New Zealand, Molesworth Street, Wellington. The programme includes the National Map Exhibition and Conference Ice Breaker and Dinner.
