The European Conference on Radar in Meteorology and Hydrology (ERAD) is an international scientific conference organized every two years.
ERAD is held to promote the exchange of weather radar knowledge between academic professionals, industry professionals, research institutions, meteorological organizations, and research scholars across the globe.
The conference facilitates mutual understanding between data producers and data users, providing the opportunity to young generations to access state-of-the-art knowledge on weather radar technologies, signal processing, and applications through communication with the most renowned scientists of the field.
The 11th European Conference on Radar in Meteorology and Hydrology (ERAD 2020), organized by EPFL and MeteoSwiss, has been canceled and postponed to 2022 because of COVID-19 pandemic.
ERAD 2022 will take place in Locarno, Switzerland, tentatively from Monday 29 August to Friday 2 September 2022.
For more information, a conference website will be created in late 2021.
