ECSQARU is a major international forum (www.ecsqaru.org/) for advances in the theory and practice of reasoning under uncertainty, with a distinctive focus on bringing symbolic and quantitative approaches together. Since its first edition in Marseille in 1991, the conference has brought together researchers advancing the foundations of the field and practitioners applying uncertainty techniques to real-world problems. Its scope spans fundamental issues, representation, inference, learning and decision making, across both qualitative and numeric uncertainty paradigms.
ECSQARU 2027 runs as a single track over three days, with three keynote lectures, so that the whole community follows the same programme.
Paper submissions will be managed through EasyChair. The proceedings will be published in the Springer Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence (LNAI) series, and a special issue of the International Journal of Approximate Reasoning is planned for extended versions of selected papers.
Submission Guidelines
Submitted papers must be original and not under review in a journal or another venue with formally published proceedings. They will be evaluated by peer review on the basis of originality, significance, technical soundness and clarity of exposition. Reviewing is single blind.
Papers must be at most 12 pages excluding references, in the Springer LNCS/LNAI format: https://www.springer.com/gp/computer-science/lncs/conference-proceedings-guidelines

The submission system opens on 4 January 2027. Abstract registration before paper submission is mandatory. Submissions are handled through EasyChair: [link]
Authors of accepted papers are expected to attend the conference and present their work; at least one author of each paper must register.
BEST PAPER AWARD
Two Best Paper Awards of 500 euros each, where one is for young researcher, supported by Springer will be granted at the conference.
