CALL FOR BOOK CHAPTERS
Internet of Drones: Applications, Opportunities, and Challenges
Published by CRC Press (Taylor & Francis Group)
Proposal Submission Deadline: 20th July, 2021
The purpose of this edited book is to cover three important perspectives of the Internet of Drones (IoD) namely, fundamentals in drone design, challenges in IoD deployment, and opportunities in developing real-time applications. This field of IoD is relatively new and gaining major attention from researchers and scientists over recent years. In the first section, we will present a detailed description of IoD and the fundamentals concepts and processes involved in designing an efficient IoD system. This also includes the architecture design and tools available for designing IoD. In the second section, we will discuss more different applications of IoD in real life and its implementations in smart cities, agriculture, healthcare, defense, security, logistics, geographical information system mapping, and other potential applications. In the last section, we will present the recent developments in IoD design, application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques in IoD, challenges in deployments, ongoing research works, case studies, and future directions in IoD. This book covers a 360-degree spectrum of different verticals in which drone applications are getting momentum. The wide variety of topics it presents would offer the readers to get a good understanding of IoD. The different chapters in the edited book will cover the above three important perspectives in IoD.
The book will be published by International publisher CRC Press (Taylor & Francis Group).
