In the year 2020 the 14th International Conference on Diagnostics of Processes and Systems (DPS) will be held in Zielona Góra, Poland, on 21-23 September. The conference will be hosted by the University of Zielona Góra.
Conference
The International Conference on Diagnostics of Processes and Systems (DPS) has been organized every two years since 1996 by the Warsaw University of Technology, the University of Zielona Góra and the Gdańsk University of Technology.
The conference is an excellent forum for the exchange of knowledge and experience among professionals representing various scientific backgrounds (automatic control, information technology, as well as mechanical, electrical and biomedical engineering) in the field of diagnostics and fault tolerant control.
A significant objective of the conference is the integration of academic society with industry engineers involved in the problems of diagnostics, supervision and safety of industrial processes and systems.
In general, conference topics correspond to the subject area of the IFAC Symposium on Fault Detection, Supervision and Safety for Technical Processes (SAFEPROCESS).
The conference is also meant as a forum for young researchers, with an opportunity to present their
scientific ambitions and work to an audience of the diagnostics and control community.
Research areas
- Fault detection, isolation and identification
- analytical and qualitative models
- identification and state estimation
- fault modelling and simulation

Original, high quality papers will be thoroughly reviewed by the International Program Committee members and published in conference proceedings within the Springer Verlag Lecture Notes series. They will also be submitted for indexing by the Web of Science. A separate book of abstracts will be available at the conference.
Paper submission
Papers have to be submitted electronically via EasyChair, a conference management system available at https://easychair.org. The conference manuscript must meet Springer's requirements in order to achieve a suitable layout and properties. Initial submissions have to be in a full paper format up to 10 pages. Detailed instructions can be found at https://www.springer.com/us/authors-editors/conferenceproceedings/conference-proceedings-guidelines. Selected papers will be recommended for journal special issues/sections: International Journal of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science (IF 1.504) and Archives of Control Sciences (IF 1.559).
Fees*
- Full registration with one paper published in indexed proceedings 320 €
- Full registration with abstract(s) published in abstract books 270 €
- Full registration for accompanying persons 150 €
- One day registration 100 €
