Submission deadline | May 15, 2020 |
The conference on Design of Circuits and Integrated Systems (DCIS) is an international meeting for researchers in the highly active fields of micro- and nano-electronic circuits and integrated systems. It provides an excellent forum to present and discuss works on the emerging challenges offered by technology, in the areas of modeling, design, implementation and test of devices, circuits and systems. The 35th edition will be organized by Universidad Politécnica de Madrid in the heart of downtown Segovia, a world UNESCO heritage site.
Submission Guidelines
We encourage submission of manuscripts (IEEE single-spaced, double-column, A4 page, 6 pages maximum) employing the IEEE manuscript templates for conference proceedings. All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. Please, do not include any identifying information, such as the authors' names or affiliations, to allow the blind review process.

Accepted papers with at least one registered author and signed copyright will be published on IEEEXplore. Extended versions of top-ranked papers will be considered for publication in a special issue of Elsevier's "Integration, the VLSI Journal".
Special Sessions
We have scheduled five special sessions on relevant topics of particular interest to our audience during the conference:
- Across the full-stack of a quantum computer
- Hardware security for electronic devices
- Medical hyperspectral image processing
- Non-planar electronics
- Open hardware: An opportunity around and beyond RISC-V
Please, contact our Special Session Chair, Mario Garrido, for further information on any of these topics.
Phd Poster Competition
This year the 2nd edition of the PhD Poster Competition is scheduled. Apart from poster displaying during all the conference, PhD Students could explain briefly their research advances and discuss with the conference attendees during coffee breaks. The student with the highest score on the poster and the discussion will receive an award and present their work in the closing session of the conference.
All topics related with the conference’s scope are welcome. Research projects should be original, not previously published in conferences or journals, and will be included in the PhD Forum proceedings.PhD Students are encouraged to submit a 1-page .pdf file in Pentachart format (template here) by April 30th, 2020. Accepted works will be required to submit an abstract (IEEE single-spaced, double column, A4 page, 2 pages maximum) by July 24th 2020, to be published in the PhD Forum Proceedings.
