Call for Papers — COICI 2026

The International Congress on Computing, Informatics and Related Areas (COICI 2026) is an international academic forum aimed at promoting the exchange of knowledge, research findings, technological developments, and innovative experiences in computing, informatics, engineering, education, and related interdisciplinary fields.

COICI 2026 brings together researchers, academics, professionals, graduate and undergraduate students, and members of the scientific and technological community interested in presenting and discussing recent advances, applications, methodologies, and emerging trends.

The Congress is organized with the participation of the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México (UAEMéx), Universidad Autónoma Chapingo (UACh), and Tecnológico Nacional de México (TecNM), together with several research networks, academic groups, and research bodies from the participating institutions.

COICI 2026 will be held on October 22–23, 2026, in a hybrid format, with both in-person and online activities.

Submission Guidelines

All papers must present original work and must not be simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference.

The following paper category is welcome:

• Full Papers describing original research, technological developments, applications, case studies, methodologies, experimental results, theoretical contributions, or innovative approaches related to computing, informatics, engineering, education, and related areas.

Papers may be written in English or Spanish.

The minimum length for papers submitted to the Congress is 4 pages. Authors who wish their paper to be considered for possible publication, should it be selected as one of the three best papers of COICI 2026, should submit a manuscript of at least 10 pages.

A maximum of three authors per paper is allowed.

There is no submission fee.

Submissions must follow the author guidelines indicated by COICI 2026 and must be submitted electronically through the official EasyChair submission platform.

The three best papers presented at COICI 2026 may be considered, with the authors' authorization, for publication in the Revista Internacional de Investigación e Innovación Tecnológica (RIIIT), ISSN 2007-9753, indexed in Latindex, subject to the journal's editorial and peer-review requirements.

There will be no conference proceedings.

Accepted papers will be scheduled for presentation either in person or online. Each author of an accepted and presented paper will receive a Speaker Certificate.

The individual members of the COICI 2026 Program Committee will be announced by the Conference Organization.

The Program Committee will be responsible for the scientific and academic evaluation of submitted papers and for supporting the development of the technical program of the Congress.
