Cloud Computing has been widely adopted by industry and academia over the last decade. Moreover, in recent years, many devices have become cloud aware and many services are migrating to the cloud. This evolution reflects the increasing size and diversity of cloud computing infrastructures that provide support for communication services, end-user applications, and sensor data.
As cloud computing data centres grow bigger, the problem of efficiently managing resources; increasing server utilisation; reducing energy consumption; and incorporating heterogeneity, is becoming ever more complex.
This workshop will attempt to capture the current and proposed solutions to this management problem. Cloud Computing experts and service providers, from both academia and industry are invited to share previously unpublished scientific work in this area and to submit position papers, outlining there their proposed future research directions.
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:
- The topics of the workshop relate to various aspects related to cloud management platforms, and the resulting challenges for the supporting cloud infrastructures. Concretely, we invite submissions focused on next challenging range of topics, but not limited to:
