We are pleased to welcome you to CITT 2018 - International Conference on Technology Trends which will be held in Babahoyo - Ecuador on August 29-31.
The purpose of CITT is to bring together top researchers and practitioners working in different domains in the field of Computer Science and Information Systems to exchange their expertise and to discuss the perspectives of development and collaboration.
CITT is an international forum for researchers and practitioners from academia, industry, and government to present, discuss, and debate the most recent ideas, experiences, and challenges in Computer Science and Information Systems and their related areas.
CITT 2018 will be held in Babahoyo, Ecuador and is organized by Universidad Técnica de Babahoyo, Universidad Politécnica Salesiana, and Universidad Laica Eloy Alfaro de Manabí.
Submission Guidelines
All papers (scientific papers and state-of-art/review/systematic literature) must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:
- Full papers (scientific papers and state-of-art/review/systematic literature ) describing significant, original, and unpublished results related to but not limited to any of the following Computer Science and Information Systems topics (See List of Topics) should be formatted according to the Springer CS Proceedings (LNCS) format and should be between 12 and 15 pages (including figures and references).
The papers must be written in English and do not contain any author names, neither affiliations nor email addresses (blind review process).
Submissions that do not comply with the above guidelines may be rejected without review.
Papers must be submitted through the conference EasyChair submission site.

Evaluation
All submissions that meet the submission criteria (see below) and fit the scope of the conference will be reviewed by three members of the program committee (blind review):
- Submissions will be evaluated on the basis of soundness, the importance of contribution, originality, quality of presentation, appropriate comparison to related work, and convincing evaluation of the proposed approach.
- Submissions that are not in compliance with the required submission format or that are out of the scope of the conference will be rejected without being reviewed.
- Submitted papers must comply with Springer plagiarism policy and procedures.
- Papers submitted to CITT 2018 must not have been published elsewhere and must not be under review or submitted for review elsewhere while under consideration for CITT 2018.
Publication
The conference proceedings of CITT 2018 will be published with Springer in their Communications in Computer and Information Science series indexed in DBLP, Google Scholar, EI-Compendex, Mathematical Reviews, SCImago, Scopus. CCIS volumes are also submitted for the inclusion in ISI Proceedings.
Accepted papers will be published in the CITT 2018 Conference Proceedings and will be processed for publication for which at least one author is required to register for the conference at the full rate.
Workshops
Workshops will be held before the conference technical days, on August 27th and 28th. This space will provide an interactive forum for participants to discuss emerging and active research areas related to the conference topics.
