CITA'21: The 12th International Conference on Information Technology in Asia Virtual Conference Kuching, Malaysia, August 25-26, 2021

CITA 2021 is a regular series of biennial conference organised since 1999 by the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak. For the first time, this conference will be conducted virtually. The theme for this year’s    conference is "Inspiring Technologies for Digital Inclusivity" and aims to feature presentations and discussions on the latest challenges, trends and research findings. This is an excellent transdisciplinary platform to learn, present and challenge inspiring ideas.

Submission Guidelines

Submissions should contain original material that has not been previously published in a journal, nor is currently under review by another journal. If material in the submission was previously published in a conference paper, the new submission must:

(i) Technically extend the published version by at least 50% of new material,

(ii) Explicitly cite the prior conference paper, and

(iii) explain in an accompanying cover letter what has been extended in the new submission.

Submitted papers will be evaluated based on their originality, presentation, contributions, and relevance to the theme of CITA’21, and will be double blind reviewed by at least two independent experts in the field. Papers must be written in English. Submissions imply that at least one of the authors has to register and present the paper at the conference if the paper is accepted. Authors may contact the Secretariat for further information or clarification at cita21@unimas.my.

Paper must be prepared according to the following guidelines:

• Abstract (230-300 words)
• 70% of the references must be from journals published between 2018 – 2021
• Similarity index of 15% or below
• Minimum of 10 pages and not exceeding 13 pages (including all figures, tables and references)
