Explain what CINDUS 2019 is.
Dear colleagues:
The successful celebration of the 11th. International Conference of Business Sciences within the framework of the 1st. International Scientific Convention 2017 of the Universidad Central "Marta Abreu" de Las Villas confirmed the need to exchange scientific, academic and practical criteria in relation to the business sciences, specifically in the different areas of Industrial Engineering.
In 2019, the importance demonstrated during the preceding editions, we call for the 1st International Conference on Industrial Engineering (CINDUS 2019) as an independent event within the framework of the II International Scientific Convention on Science, Technology and Society (CCI 2019), Promoted by: The Cuban Journal of Industrial Engineering and COPIMAN, organized by the Universidad Central "Marta Abreu" de Las Villas, Institution of Excellence of Higher Education in Cuba.
Researchers, academics, entrepreneurs, government policy makers, students and other specialists from around the world, who work to achieve sustainable development will be able to participate. The convention will take place from June 23 to 30, 2019, in the tourist destination: keys of Villa Clara, Cuba.
It will have as main topic: Science and social transformation for sustainable development. The current global context demands the design of initiatives that promote scientific and technological cooperation with a more integrative approach, aimed at promoting progress and advancing in the fulfillment of the objectives contemplated in the Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development, approved by the General Assembly of the United Nations in September 2015. Exchange scientific, academic and practical criteria, promotes the integration of all areas of knowledge, disseminate good practices. The Conference goal is promote the action of the human beings in different thematic areas who contribute to a sustainable and inclusive development.
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:
- Full papers .
- Posters
General format of the papers
- Title in uppercase (up to 15 words)
- Author and co-authors with their emails.
- Institution and country of each author and co-author. Declare if they have charges as well as the scientific degree.
- Summary of the paper (Up to 250 words).
- Keywords. (Up to 6 words)
- Text of the work (must have an introduction where the objectives of the work, the development of the paper grouped in epigraphs, the conclusions, bibliographical references and annexes, where the tables and figures appear) are clearly specified.
- The APA standards will be used to carry out the bibliographic settlements.
Language of the papers: Written papers will be received in Spanish and English.

The best 10 papers presented at the conference will be selected for later publication in the Cuban Journal of Industrial Engineering (http://rii.cujae.edu.cu http://scielo.sld.cu/scielo.php?script=sci_serial&pid=1815-5936&lng=es&nrm=iso), with the prior consent of the authors. The journal is indexed in: SciELO, Latindex, Dialnet and Directory of Open Access Journals - DOAJ. The publication will be publish in number 3 of 2019. The selected papers must be original and does not contain elements limited, classified, subjects to patent. Check the editorial policy of the magazine for more information.
