Hacksprint, Business Stories, Worskhop, Community Outreach
Hacksprint, Business Story, Workshop, and Community Outreach are integral to the success of CHIuXiD 2019. Encouraging the pollination of ideas from different communities and backgrounds, each platform or forum provides an opportunity for the participants of CHIuXiD 2019 to broaden their horizons above and beyond.
- Hacksprint: A Hacksprint is a sprint-like event, where programmers, designers, students, developers and others create solutions for specific challenges in a short space of time. “Create, prototype, and amaze others with what you built!”
- Business stories: a platform for companies, professionals, and entrepreneurs to share business insights, case studies, experiences, stories, and tips related to Human-Computer Interaction and User Experience.
- Workshop: is an activities intended to elevate the skills of the attendance. The workshop can be guided by keynote speakers or other experts.
- Community outreach: promote the application of inclusive HCI and UX principles in the community. There is currently a lack of attention for HCI and UX research and application for marginalized people in Indonesia. Through the outreach, we will learn how to help them with HCI and UX approaches. In 2017, we reach the micro, small, and medium enterprise in the rural villages to practice design thinking to help them grow. And, in 2018 we reach the elderly nursing home to understand their needs and feeling.
