CALL FOR BOOK CHAPTERS
Advances in Scalable and Intelligent Geospatial Analysis: New Trends, Challenges and Applications
ABOUT THE BOOK
In recent years, the geospatial community is experiencing an unprecedented growth in the geospatial data. This geospatial data merits novel scalable and intelligent geospatial analytics for handling and processing such a voluminous geospatial data. Geospatial data analytics consist of various tools and techniques to process, analyze and visualize multi-modal geospatial data from a variety of platforms such as location sensors, remote sensing, unmanned aerial vehicles, social media, and mobile devices. The main goal of this book is to encourage academicians, researchers and practitioners to discuss the recent growth in the geospatial data and various challenges, novel architectures, design, and upcoming trends in scalable and intelligent geospatial analytics in various applications such as healthcare, finance, security, media, retail, travel etc. Moreover, the proposed book will also discuss several paradigms such as analysis of complex geospatial data, improved decision making, powerful and real/near-real time data analysis and processing for better visualization, geospatial interoperability, privacy, and legal issues in geospatial data management. All the aspects such as theoretical and practical contributions, simulated works, review, and case studies are welcomed. This will help the professional or researcher to design/ develop the optimal solutions considering the state-of-the-art techniques/technologies from the geospatial domain.
