The 9th African International Conference (AIC) on Statistics will take place in the vibrant city of Nairobi, Kenya, from June 16 to 20, 2025. This prestigious international event is jointly organized by Strathmore University (SU), Kenya, and the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), USA, in collaboration with the American Statistical Association (ASA) and the Institute of Mathematical Statistics (IMS). With the theme “Leveraging Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, and Emerging Analytical Tools in Mathematical Sciences for Development in Africa,” the conference will bring together leading scholars, researchers, and practitioners to explore innovative statistical methodologies and their impact on Africa’s development.

The 9th African International Conference (AIC) on Statistics invites abstract submissions for presentation in the following thematic areas:
