"Artificial Intelligence Applications for Health Care"
This book focuses on researches and developments in Biomedical Signal/ Image Processing for healthcare systems through Artificial Intelligence and Computational Intelligence techniques. This book includes research, discoveries, and innovations in Healthcare, Cognitive Computing, Automated, and Digital Systems. It also covers fundamental research studies conducted to provide an easy and ground-level understanding of recent topics in the above fields. Structured and systematic reviews are also a part of this book. Each chapter provides an initial level theory for the researchers and students to get them up to speed to start their research and studies in these interdisciplinary domains.
Along with covering fundamentals, this book also includes studies over several disease diagnostics data in signals and images. Studies over data signals like electrocardiogram (ECG), electroencephalogram (EEG), and electromyogram (EMG) are some famous bioelectric potential that will be a part of this book. Studies over ultrasound images, X-rays, magnetic resonance images (MRI), computerized tomography (CT) are also a part of this book. Therefore this book is a complete package of computational intelligence and medical data analysis.
Aim and Scope of Book
The aim of this book is to provide advancement and development in healthcare systems by exploring applications of computational intelligence techniques over biomedical signals and images.
Scope of this book covers computational intelligence applications, biomedical signal, and analysis along with enhancement of healthcare systems.
Proposed Content of Book
This book is divided into 05 sections that are:

- Fundamentals and Review of Artificial Intelligence and Computation Intelligence Techniques
- Fundamentals and Review of different types of Bio-medical Signals (related to recording techniques and information present in the signal)
- Fundamentals and Review of different types of Bio-medical Images (related to acquisition techniques and information present in the image)

- Filtering and enhancement of medical signals like ECG, EEG, EMG etc.
- Classification, Intelligent clustering and segmentation applications over medical signals
- Deep learning applications for disease detection and diagnosis in medical signals
[ Section: 03 Artificial Intelligence Applications on Medical Images Databases]
- Filtering and enhancement of medical images like X-rays, FMRI, CT etc
- Classification, Intelligent clustering and segmentation applications over medical Images
- Deep learning applications for disease detection and diagnosis in medical images
[ Section: 04 Advanced Computational Intelligence/ Soft computing Models for Digital Healthcare Systems]
- Swarm optimization applications for enhancement of medical signal/image processing systems

- AI and machine learning for monitoring and treatment of critical illness (Point of care testing and devices)/ Expert systems for healthcare assessment

- Bio-medical signal/Images loading, visualization and understanding dimensions of data with python code.
- Classification study over Bio-medical signal database with python code.

Any study related to the above topics will be considered as a chapter in this book.
Submission Guidelines
All Chapters must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another book, journal or conference. The following are some guidelines:
Authors can submit a FULL CHAPTER or ABSTRACT with a brief layout of the chapter.
Format of Book Chapter: The formatting of manuscripts should follow: A4 page format, single column with 11 point, Times New Roman font, with 1.5 line spacing, while submitting your manuscript as Microsoft Office Word document or PDF file. Use the number referencing style as usually used for regular research papers. The page limit of the chapter is 20 pages including figures, tables, and references. (The same format is used to submit an abstract with a brief layout).
Final Notification: Acceptance of chapter will be communicated to lead chapter authors after a formal double-blind review process of FULL CHAPTER, to ensure relevance, quality, and originality. The submission of chapter proposals should be processed via Easychair system AIAHC-T&F-2021
ABSTRACT Notification: Within 03-05 days we will inform the status of the abstract to submit the full chapter if matched with the layout of the book. The author has to submit the full chapter within 10 days for the review process.
All chapters/abstracts must be submitted through EasyChair Account only.
