ABIS invites you to submit a completed paper, proposal, or extended abstract for the 2022 conference.
Submission Deadline: September 15, 2021 October 1, 2021 ABSOLUTE FINAL DEADLINE: October 15, 2021
Submissions related to, but not limited to, the following topics are encouraged:
Computer and Software Applications (e.g., MS Office) | Social Media Practices, Pedagogy, and Security |
Database Management | Teaching and Corporate Training Platforms |
Distance and Mobile Learning | Web Design and E-Commerce |
Information Systems Curriculum Development | Wireless and Cloud Computing |
Information Systems, Networks, and Programming | Business Analytics |
Submission Definitions
Completed Papers: Completed papers should be publication-ready with at least 1500 words, not including the abstract. Include an abstract (100 – 500 words), problem statement, literature review, methodology, results, and conclusions.
Proposal (Research in Progress): Proposals are for research in progress—at least 500 words, not including the abstract. Include an abstract (100 – 500 words), problem statement, literature review, and the proposed methodology.
Extended Abstract (Presentation): Presentations are topical and may cover innovative and best practice topics. Include an abstract and presentation summary (250 – 500 words total).
Submission Guidelines
- Use APA 7th ed. formatting
- Must be original work, not under concurrent consideration, scheduled for presentation elsewhere, or previously published
- Include a cover page with the title, author information, and submission type (paper, proposal, or presentation). The subsequent pages should include the title, but no author information.
- Submit your Microsoft Word document via EasyChair at https://easychair.org/my/conference?conf=abis2022
- Submissions will be blind peer-reviewed
Additional Information
Completed papers selected for presentation will be eligible for the Distinguished Paper Award. The Distinguished Paper Award winner will be conditionally accepted for publication in the Journal for Research in Business Information Systems (JRBIS), a Cabell’s-listed journal. All accepted submissions will be eligible for publication in the conference proceedings. All accepted submissions must have at least one conference-attending author registered with ABIS ($65 professional rate, $40 student rate) and FBD ($100) to be listed in the program and qualify for publication in the ABIS Proceedings or JRBIS.
