The XX Conference and Doctoral Colloquium Grudis will be held at the School of Technology and Management of the Polytechnic Institute of The Guarda [ESTG-IPG], on January 22 and 23, 2021 and is open to all those interested in accounting research. However, the submission of articles and research projects is restricted to the work of Grudis members (or co-authored with grudis members) and to work of members of the European Accounting Association (EAA). Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:

22|January|2021 - Research Projects - The Doctoral Colloquium will feature the presentation of doctoral investigation projects. This space provides doctoral students (members of Grudis or EAA) the opportunity to present and discuss their research projects and/or the preliminary results of their research. Projects shall contain a brief description of the problems under investigation, the research methodology to be adopted, the data to be used and its collection process, the expected results and any difficulties in implementing the project. If preliminary results exist at the time of submission, they should also be submitted. All research projects submitted will be evaluated by a discussant. The Doctoral Colloquium is open to all participants in the Conference. The projects in English submitted to the Doctoral Colloquium grudis Grudis will participate, upon indication of the authors, in a selection process under the Grudis-EAA protocol. These projects will also go through the Peer Mentoring Initiative (PMI) of the EAA Accounting Research Center (ARC). PMI aims to give feedback to doctoral students,carried out by European experts in the various areas of accounting. PMI functions as a system of peer review of a scientific journal, with the inherent confidentiality of projects. More information at https://arc.eaa-online.org/peer-mentoring-initiative.

23| January|2021 - Full papers - Grudis Conference provides the presentation and discussion of research articles (at least one author must be a member of Grudis or a member of the EAA). Articles should not have been submitted at previous Grudis conferences or, having been, contain fundamental changes. Each article presented will be appreciated and discussed by a discussant. The acceptance of communications becomes definitive only after the registration in the Conference, within the period defined by the organization, of one of the authors of the article.

Submission must be done through the easychair system by attaching a file in pdf format, in which the file should contain only the full version of the text without any author ID(s). This will be the file to send to the evaluators. The information about the authors will be uploaded by themselves in the final submission of the work on the easychair platform.

The submitted papers must not exceed 15 000 words. Submission must be made by 1 December 2020.
