WinTechCon was first held in 2018 with the intention of providing a forum for women technology leaders from India to present their work in emerging knowledge areas. The conference was attended by 200+ delegates and was a major success. It featured peer-reviewed paper presentations and posters, two keynote talks, two embedded tutorials, technology demonstrations, exhibit booths, and a panel discussion. The entire conference was managed by women leaders from leading industries in the space of semiconductors and electronic systems. Encouraged by the success of WinTechCon-2018, the second edition of the conference is planned in 2019. WinTechCon2019 will be organized by IEEE CAS Bangalore Chapter in association with IEEE WiE (Bangalore) and IEEE Bangalore Section in Bangalore. The conference welcomes sponsorship from organizations that wish to encourage gender diversity and support the cause of women in technology. There is also an opportunity to showcase your organization’s products and your diversity program at the exhibit booths. Please contact our Sponsorship Chair to learn more about sponsorship opportunities. The conference welcomes the submission of previously unpublished manuscripts of high technical quality for presentation. There is also scope for technology demonstrations. The submissions will be reviewed critically and accepted papers, posters and technical demos will be showcased at the conference. While coauthors of papers, posters, and demos may be men, the presenters at the conference must be women technologists from India. Please view the proceedings of WinTechCon-2018 on the IEEE CAS Bangalore website to get a feel for the technical program of WinTechCon. In 2019, the conference committee aims to have the proceedings archived in IEEE Xplore.
