Welcome to the 26th edition of the Workshop in Information Technologies (WIT26) hosted by the Ph.D. in Information Technologies Coordination at the University of Guadalajara (UDG). The scope of this workshop is to communicate the latest advances in research of the Ph.D. Students in IT at the UDG create a strong connection among students and professors of the program for opportunities to collaborate. Also, this workshop has as guest invitees our past graduated students providing feedback on their career development, and also the workshop connects with the local industry to foster opportunities and guidance to create synergies and pertinence.
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:
- Full papers describe results and insights achieved during the semester and create the corpus for the Thesis report.
- Based on the semester of the Ph.D. Student, the content needs to show the: State of the Art, Problem Statement, Methodology, Architecture of the Solution, Experimental design, Results & Analysis, Conclusions & Perspectives, References.

- One Slide to present with the following rules:
- A single static PowerPoint slide is permitted. No slide transitions, animations, or 'movement' of any description are allowed. The slide is to be presented from the beginning of the oration.
- No additional electronic media (e.g. sound and video files) are permitted.
- No additional props (e.g., costumes, musical instruments, laboratory equipment) are permitted.
- Presentations are limited to 3 minutes maximum, and competitors exceeding 3 minutes are disqualified.
- Presentations are to be spoken word (e.g., no poems, raps, or songs).
- Presentations are to commence from the stage.
- Presentations are considered to have commenced when a presenter starts their presentation through either movement or speech.
- The decision of the adjudicating panel is final.
