The Western Conference on Linguistics (WECOL) is an international conference on any aspect of theoretical and descriptive linguistics. Invited speakers this year will be:

As it seems impossible to predict the future these days, we’ll plan on having WECOL face to face and on-line. We hope this will allow maximal opportunities for attendees. WECOL 2021 will be held November 13-14 based at California State University, Fresno. Presentations are published in the WECOL Proceedings online at http://www.fresnostate.edu/artshum/linguistics/wecolproceedings.html
Submission Guidelines
All submissions must be original and not previously published.
Abstracts are invited for 20-minute talks (with 10 minutes for discussion) on any aspect of theoretical or descriptive linguistics.
Abstracts must be limited to 500 words, excluding references. The format of the abstract should follow the guidelines below:
- Title centered at top of page, in bold
- Word count at the end of the abstract
- Anonymous: authors’ names and affiliations should not be indicated anywhere in the abstract
- File name: title.pdf
Abstract can be submitted until 1st September 2020 23:59 CET at:
