The development of new materials, different and diminutive wearable measurement systems, and the advancement of artificial intelligence are the key factors that have propelled the widespread use of biosensors. The main objective of this workshop is to provide a unique environment for researchers to discuss and exchange experiences in all areas of the industrial and academic biosensor chain. WBIO 2024 is a face-to-face international forum to discuss the future perspectives of biosensors and their applications in the medical, pharmaceutical, and food industries, based on their applications in Biomedical and Computational Engineering, Medical Physics, Medicine, Environment, Biology, and Chemistry. The registration fee is FREE for all participants. In 2024, this workshop will be organized together with WiSE 2024 (Women in Sensors promoted by IEEE - https://ieee-sensors.org/women-in-sensors-wise). Lectures, full papers, expanded abstracts, posters and mini-course will be part of both events. Full papers are expected to be published, once accepted, in the Journal of Physics: Conference Series from IOP, in the form of a book with open access. Furthermore, papers submitted to WiSE 2024 will be published in the IEEE Xplore).
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:
- Full papers: 4-page original paper to be presented orally in a plenary room.
- Posters: 2-page paper to be submitted and presented in a session of posters.
Please follow these essential guidelines when preparing your paper:
