“We can only prevent future pandemics with an integrated One Health approach to public health, animal health and the environment we share.”
The REsilienceLAB developed several projects and scientific/academic dialogues on urban resilience, focusing on creative diversity as fundamental property in resilience capacities improvement. The Conference aims to activate dialogues and debate among contributions proposing experiences, researches and conceptual reframing able to investigate the interdependencies among urban resilience and One Health approach to share perspective for renovated urban vision.The REsilienceLAB lauches a Call for Abstracts for the UROH conference.The call for abstract is open to collect contributions proposal engaged in the Conference debate and dialogue.
Interested presenters should submit an abstract of at least 300 words but not exceeding 500 words, in English, by 17 July

Domain 1: interdependence of human and natural systems: exploring research, knowledge and experiences exploring existing interdependence and strategic alliances based on scientific knowledge and good practices. This session includes possible advancements in environmental analysis, monitoring and protection in assuming the concept of OneHealth (particularly concerning data, the One Health approach helps to think and design ways to explore the cross-influence between health and environment).Researches domains and sub-tracks focuses on :
- Air Quality in post-pandemic urbanisms
- COVID-19 and zoonotic disease: vulnerabilities and crises
- Water and Ecotoxicology,
- Soil pollution and remediation
- Nature-based solution and health ecosystem services,
- Eco Anxiety and Ecopsychology in the urban environment.
Domain 2: Urban ecosystem and One health: exploring the contribution to Human Health and urban resilience from the green infrastructures and renovated approach to urban green approached as core multifunctional infrastructure for our common future. a specific focus will be oriented to the preparedness of urban system for shocks and stressResearches domains and sub-tracks focuses on :
- Adaptation and mitigation to climate change at a local level: a health per Planetary Health and One Health
- Community Resilience and participatory science to face triple crises
- Resilience and Preparednes
- Early Warning Systems and Connectity
- Health Ecosystem Services
Domain 3: One health and urban resilience hybridization: exploring the possible integration among two core approaches. The aim is to highlight the synergies’ perspectives from a conceptual (or theoretical) level, governance domain (policies and tools for plan and urban design), to operational and practical level (intervention, practices acted).Researches domains and sub-tracks focus:

Publication
A scientific on-line publication (that will be available as open-source) will be published by REsilienceLAB.
Interested author can submit full-papers that can be selected and published after a double-blinded peer review procedure. The double-blinded peer review procedure will be managed by the editorial board of REsilienceLAB with the support of the advise of the scientific committee of the UROH International Conference and the REsilienceLAB scientific committee.
