The 12th Research Symposium on Urban Transport will be held as part of the 14th Urban Mobility India Conference cum Exhibition 2021 scheduled from 29th - 31st October, 2021 at Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty, Kerala, India. The event would be held under the aegis of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India and is being coordinated this year by IISc Sustainable Transportation Lab. (IST Lab.), Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore. The symposium is a platform to highlight the current research activities in urban transport carried out by academic and research institutes, especially by young researchers.
The purpose of the research symposium is to: (i) Encourage young researchers working in various facets of urban transport to present their research work and provide them an opportunity for networking with fellow researchers and professionals, (ii) Enhance capacity building of young researchers in the field of urban transport, and (iii) Contribute towards building up of research data base, its dissemination and identification of research thrust in the country.
Deadline for abstract submission has already passed. The abstracts have been selected through UMI Portal. This call of papers is only for full paper submission for those accepted abstracts.

Instructions to author(s): How to submit Full Paper

Manuscript Length: The length of each paper, including the abstract, text, acknowledgments, references, and tables, must not exceed 7,500 words. Each table counts as 250 words. Papers not meeting this requirement may be withdrawn from the peer review process at any time. Abstract (250 words max).

Please remember that your submitted full paper file should NOT include any reference to author(s) (like Name, email, affiliation, acknowledgment etc.) in the body of the paper including the front page. All these details need to be entered only in EasyChair. Violation of this may lead to desk rejection of the full paper. The acknowledgement can be included only at the stage of submission of final version of the paper after the paper has been accepted following the due review process.

Authors should also make sure that plagiarism check result (through Turnitin) of their full paper is less than or equal to 10%. Also, mention the similarity percentage as a footnote on the first page of the full paper file.

Full paper should start with the title of the paper (in bold), using Times New Roman font, size 14 pts, and centre aligned. The body of the full paper should also be in Times New Roman font with size 12 pt, fully justified, single spacing, no spacing between paragraphs, starting with the word. The paper must be in PDF format (file extension .pdf).
Full-Length Paper Review Policy

The full-length paper review will be double-blind.

The decision on the full-length paper will be based on at least two review reports.

The decision of the technical committee on the acceptance/ rejection of a full-length paper will be final.
