Abstracts are invited for papers (oral presentations and posters) on original, unpublished research related to the study of language variation. We welcome submissions from scholars based in the UK and internationally; research does not need to be restricted to communities in the British Isles. 

Paper Format & Submission 

Abstracts should be submitted via Easy Chair (submission link above). They should be no more than 300 words long, and a maximum of 1 A4 page of text. References, glossed/transcribed examples, and images can appear on a second page and do not count toward the word limit. Abstracts should be submitted as PDF documents and be fully anonymised. Authors may submit a maximum of two abstracts, only one of which may be sole-/first-authored. 

All submissions will be anonymously reviewed.

Notification of acceptance: 14 June 2021
