The Annual Symposium of Computer Science / Tietojenkäsittelytieteen päivät 8.-9. kesäkuuta 2026. TURKU.
The organizing committee for the annual symposium of computer science in Finland is inviting doctoral students, post-docs, and researchers in computer science, software engineering, data science, information systems, information technology, and other related fields to participate in the annual symposium of the Computer Science Society of Finland. This year, the symposium will take place on June 8–9, 2026, in Turku, Finland. During the event, there will be keynote speakers, presentations by awarded researchers, as well as paper and poster sessions, for which we are looking for submissions.
The theme of this year’s symposium is Applications of Artificial Intelligence.
However, the papers submitted to this conference are not limited to the theme of the symposium. We invite papers for presentation and publication from researchers in computer science, information systems, and related fields to present their work at the symposium. We encourage submissions presenting new ideas, ongoing research, and interesting concepts in computer science, software engineering, information technology, information systems, and data science, in both research and educational contexts. We hope that the presentations are well thought-out, insightful, and sufficiently general to allow the audience to actively participate and engage in discussions with the presenters during the paper track sessions.
We especially encourage early-stage doctoral students to write about their studies in order to find contacts and establish social connections within the Finnish and Nordic academic communities.
Submission Guidelines
Submitted papers should be formatted as 5–12 page papers following the CEUR-WS 2-column template (http://ceur-ws.org/Vol-XXX/CEURART.zip) and written in English. The Overleaf template and further instructions are available on the CEUR-WS website:https://ceur-ws.org/HOWTOSUBMIT.html.
Only papers presented on-site at the symposium will be included in the proceedings volume. Please note that papers shorter than 10 pages will be considered short papers, while papers of 10–12 pages will be regarded as full papers.
Accepted papers will be presented at the symposium, where each paper is allocated 15 minutes for presentation, followed by 5 minutes for questions and discussion. Only presented papers will be included in the proceedings; therefore, at least one author of each accepted paper must participate in the event on-site.
Presentations may be given in English or Finnish and may include additional elements such as hardware demonstrations, audiovisual materials, or similar supporting content.
Important Dates
Manuscripts must be submitted via EasyChair by 07.04.2026 (April 07), AoE (UTC-12h).
Notifications of acceptance will be sent to authors by 03.05.2026 (May 03), AoE (UTC-12h).
All papers must be submitted through the EasyChair system. Manuscripts submitted by other means will not be considered.
