The TIPG 2020 will address the main issues of contemporary political geography and international relations. The Conference provides a platform for discussion and collaboration of experts in the fields of Political Geography, Geopolitics, International Relations, International Law and other related areas of inquiry.
The Conference is a continuation of the International Conference “Topical issues of international relations in the current geopolitical context”, which has been taken place in St. Petersburg annually since 2016.
The conference will include four panels:
Panel 1: Migration and socio-demographic processes;
Panel 2: Ideologies of regionalism and globalization in historical context. Philosophy of politics;
Panel 3: National Policies & International Politics;
Panel 4: Cultural Dimension of International Relations.
Announcements of the results of comparative studies are especially welcome.
We will keep monitoring the evolution of COVID-19. We hope that the conference will take place in St. Petersburg on time and everyone can safely make it through this global issue.
Submission Guidelines
All accepted papers will be sent to Springer Geography (indexed in Scopus). Before submitting the paper please read the Information for Authors and Publishing Policies & Ethics. English is the language of the conference and of all submissions.
In order to participate in the conference, the authors need to upload the paper via Easychair for TIPG-2020 by August 25th, 2020.
All papers should be written in English and prepared using the Word template within 10-15 pages. All papers should be submitted without any means of identifying their authors through EasyChair Page by the Submission Deadline.
All submissions will be double-blind peer reviewed. Submissions must be original and should not have been published previously or considered for publication elsewhere. Accepted papers must be revised to address reviewer comments, to add author names and affiliations and to add the rights management text received above and resubmitted through EasyChair Page by the Submission Deadline. Papers will be published in proceedings and will be sent to Scopus.
