The main theme of the summer meeting will be urban traffic operations. With urbanization and densification of cities being one of the important trends, traffic operations in cities are becoming increasingly important. Next to its relevance, the scientific challenges related to urban traffic are daunting, for instance due to its complexity and its multi-modal (cars, pedestrians, cyclists, and public transport) nature. The summer meeting will provide an excellent opportunity to bring together scholars and professionals to discuss the research agenda and share relevant research findings.
