Introduction of this conference
The ACM SIGSPATIAL China Chapter is dedicated to advancing research paradigms in spatial data and the theory and technology of spatial intelligence, with innovative applications in spatiotemporal big data, smart cities, transportation science, and social governance. To further promote the theoretical development and application of spatial data intelligence research, and to exchange new theories, issues, and methods in the field, the ACM SIGSPATIAL China Chapter established the Spatial Data Intelligence Conference (SpatialDI). The Chapter will host the 7th Spatial Data Intelligence Conference (SpatialDI 2026) from April 24 to 269, 2025, in Changsha.
The conference theme is "Spatial Data Intelligence Driving High-Quality Development." High-quality development is a modern development paradigm driven by technological innovation. It reshapes the efficiency of production factor allocation, industrial competitiveness, and ecological sustainability through technological breakthroughs, thereby achieving a leap in economic efficiency and coordinated growth in social welfare. This conference shares the latest achievements and perspectives on topics such as spatial intelligence empowering new-quality productivity, spatial intelligence tools constructing an engine for autonomous economic and social decision-making, the marketization of spatial data elements and the spatial intelligence industrial ecosystem, and spatiotemporal intelligence driving scientific discoveries in the economy and society. It also explores the opportunities and challenges of spatial data intelligence in high-quality economic and social development and looks ahead to future development directions.
The conference will feature several specialized forums on cutting-edge topics and outstanding paper awards. Experts, scholars, students, and representatives from enterprises and institutions in related fields are welcome to attend.
