Call for papers DEADLINE EXTENDED!
The Faculty of Communication (Vilnius University) in cooperation with Vytautas Magnus University and The International Research & Exchanges Board (IREX) is inviting proposals for presentations at the international student conference “Be part of the solution: changes of media and information literacy in contemporary society”.
The conference seeks to bring together international communication and information science students and recent alumnae for sharing research and insights into the current state and changes of media and information environments.
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:
- Full papers and presentations of research in progress, course papers and / or final theses are welcome. Presentations must not exceed 10 minutes.
Please, submit short paper proposals and short biographies (max. 500 words) until April 18, 2022. Please, do indicate wether your presetation will be "live" or "remote".

How to submit a paper proposal step by step:
• Find a conference environment and sign up: https://easychair.org/cfp/Solution2022
• Select “make a new submission”
• Fill in the required fields. If the presentation is only by yourself, skip fields “Author 2”, “Author 3”, etc.
• Formulate and enter a title for the paper (“Title”). Tip: The title should be short and interesting
• Select and enter a summary of the paper (“Abstract”). Tip: A summary or an abstract is a brief introduction to the subject of the paper and its main statements. It can be started like so: “The purpose of this paper is ...”. Tip 2: Write the title and summary of the paper carefully as they will be published
• Formulate three keywords that reflect the subject of your paper (“Keywords”)
• Prepare and write your short bio in a separate MSWord document, mention your name and research interests, and indicate your study program and year. Upload a document to the “Files” box
• Click “Submit”
• That’s it, your paper proposal is submitted!
Acceptance letters will be sent out in the end April, 2022.
