The Workshop on Speech and Music Processing 2021 is co-located with ICON 2021 with proceedings published in the ACL anthology. The workshop will take place virtually on the 16th or 19th of December 2021. Speech and music are two prominent research areas in the domain of audio signal processing. This workshop will focus on both technological knowledge and comprehensive treatment of essential topics in speech and music processing.
Submission Guidelines
- We solicit original and unpublished work related to speech and music processing. Short papers can be up to 4 pages in length and long papers up to 8 pages. Both submission formats can have an unlimited number of pages for references. All submissions must follow the ACL stylesheet. We don’t accept submissions that consist of an abstract only.
- The submissions must be anonymous and they will be peer-reviewed by our program committee. The peer review is double blinded. Please see “Paper Submission Information” on the main conference website for more information.
- Papers must be submitted using SoftConf by the workshop deadline. At least one of the authors of an accepted paper must register for the main conference and present the paper.

Publication
Accepted papers (short and long) will be published in the workshop proceedings that will appear in the ACL Anthology. The length of a camera ready submission can then be 5 pages for a short paper and 9 for a long paper with an unlimited number of pages for references.
