Call for Student Abstracts
The School of Integrated Sciences (SIS) is pleased to present the 24th Annual Senior Symposium - a culmination of two-year long capstone projects featuring the work of students in the Biotech, Geographic Science, Intelligence Analysis and Integrated Science and Technology programs. The day-long event will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2020, in the ISAT/CS Building.
As part of the SIS experience, every student has the opportunity to complete a capstone project. Working individually or in teams, students tackle a real world problem with a practical components, sometimes teaming with local industry or governmental sponsor. Capstone project ideas can come from the students themselves, from faculty advisors, or from sponsors. The capstone project gives students an opportunity to use the knowledge and skills they learned to address a real-world problem and receive valuable hands-on experience.
This site is to be used by James Madison University students to upload their preliminary and final abstracts. Preliminary abstracts should be uploaded by January 3, 2020; final abstracts by April 15, 2020 for your work to be included in the 2020 School of Integrated Sciences Senior Symposium Proceedings.
At this time we are not accepting abstracts from other undergraduate researchers.
