Greetings from the ICHRIE-SECSA Federation Board and the University of Memphis! Please join us for our 7th Annual ICHRIE-SECSA Conference Friday, March 4th – Saturday, March 5th, 2022. Due to the continued concerns with regards to the COVID-19, the conference will be held virtually.
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference.
Research Track:
There are three options for submission under the research track.
Option1: Completed Empirical Research Paper – a maximum of 1000-word structured abstract for a formal paper presentation (15 minutes + 5 minutes for Q&A)
Option 2: Work-in-Progress Paper – a maximum of 500-word abstract for a shorter presentation (10 minutes + 5 minutes for Q&A).
Option 3: Symposium/Round Table Discussion – a maximum of 500-word proposal for a “symposium/round table” session (20 minutes).
Pedagogy Track Requirements
- The Pedagogy Track will feature multiple workshops to provide practical lessons and teaching modules that faculty can use in their respective classrooms or programs. These workshop presenters will share best teaching practices, innovative teaching lessons, and/or examples from their classrooms.
- All workshops should include handouts, or “takeaways” attendees may apply to their teaching. The goal is for attendees to leave each session with new ideas that they can apply immediately in their classroom and at their university or school.
- To present in this track, please submit a 1-page, double-spaced abstract by the deadline (December 5th, 2021, 11:59 pm EST) to Dr. Andrea-White McNeil at mcneila@cookman.edu.
