Please be advised that we are accepting abstracts for the fourth annual SECSA Federation Conference. We do hope you will consider attending this event, and we hope you will consider presenting an abstract for the conference proceedings. Federation members are strongly encouraged, and all members of ICHRIE are invited.

All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. Following are the guidelines for paper submissions; 

• Submissions must be limited to a maximum of 3 pages. 
• Single spaced in 12 point font, Times New Roman. 
• One-inch margins. 
• References should be in APA format. 
• The references, tables, and figures will be in addition to the 3-page limit.

• Review process will be a double blind.
• Authors may be the lead author on a maximum of 2 papers. 
• Conference proceedings will be added to the ICHRIE website following the conference.
• The length of presentations will be up to 20 minutes (to be finalized after author registration is finalized), including the presentation and questions/answers. Power-Point presentations are expected for accepted abstracts.
• Please submit your files to the online system on EasyChair. through this link (https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=secsa2019conference). Make sure that file is in Microsoft Word document form, and name the file with your last name, and first initial (i.e. AliF.doc).

A number of awards will be presented at the completion of the conference, including;

• Highly Commended Paper - Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Technology
• Best presentation for professional member– attendees’ choice
• Best presentation for student – attendees’ choice

Call for Reviewers

We would like to ask for volunteers to be reviewers for the proceedings. If you would like to volunteer to review individual abstracts , please email Dr. Faizan Ali, SECSA Director of Research (faizanali@usf.edu).

Initial Registration Information

Conference registration costs will be $75 for ICHRIE members, $50 for graduate students, and $100 for non-ICHRIE members. Conference registration will include the majority of meals throughout the conference. The SECSA Board and USF Sarasota-Manatee representatives are currently working to finalize all of the details of the conference. Once finalized, information will be distributed.
