CALL FOR PAPERS
Special Event on Analysis of Experimental Algorithms (SEA2 2019)
June 24-29, 2019, Kalamata, Greece
SEA2 (Special Event on Analysis of Experimental Algorithms) is an international forum for researchers in the area of design, analysis, and experimental evaluation and engineering of algorithms, as well as in various aspects of computational optimization and its applications. SEA2 aims to attract papers from both the Computer Science and the Operations Research/Mathematical Programming communities. The main theme of the symposium is the role of experimentation and engineering techniques in the design and evaluation of algorithms, data structures, and computational optimization methods. SEA2 hosts original research works specializing in various aspects of algorithm engineering and computational optimization. Submissions should present significant contributions supported by experimental evaluation, methodological issues in the design and interpretation of experiments, the use of (meta-) heuristics, or application-driven case studies that deepen the understanding of the complexity of a problem.

PROCEEDINGS AND SUBMISSION
All accepted papers will be published in a post-conference volume of the series on Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) from Springer. The LaTeX template can be found at:
https://www.springer.com/gp/computer-science/lncs/conference-proceedings-guidelines
The manuscript should not exceed 16 pages in LNCS format, including figures, title, authors, affiliations, e-mail addresses, and a short abstract. A clearly marked Appendix, which will not count toward the page submission limit, can be included and will be read at the referees’ discretion. Final proceedings papers must be camera-ready in the corresponding format. All papers must be submitted in PDF using EasyChair through the SEA2 2019 Submission System (https://easychair.org/my/conference.cgi?conf=sea2019).
