Data science is reshaping different academic and Industry fields. It is playing a more and more important role in almost all domains. The Southwest Data Science Conference (SDSC 2023) provides an international forum for the presentation of original research results in different data science domains as well as the dissemination and exchange of novel data handling and methodology experiences.
Submission Guidelines
SDSC 2023 invites submissions of papers or abstracts consisting of new, unpublished work, reporting advances in data science and its intersections with other fields. SDSC2023 welcomes submissions from the following domains but is not limited to

- Full papers describing new advances in data science and its intersections with other fields. The paper should be self-contained. Authors can provide their supplement via web links if it is necessary. Note that the supplement will not be included in the proceedings. Paper submissions should be limited to a maximum of 15 pages but at least 12 pages in the LNCS format
- Abstract/Posters describing ongoing work in data science and its application domains
Paper Submission and Publication
Accepted papers will be published in Springer proceedings. Besides the proceeding publications, the selected papers will be further recommended to publish in the following SCI-index journals in related data science fields such as BMC Bioinformatics, Information systems, Computational Biology and Chemistry, and other leading journals in data science fields.
The SDSC2023 committee will treat the papers whose first authors are undergraduate students very specially.
