Explain what SDD 2026 is.
The Swansea · Delhi Dialogue (SDD 2026) — “How Method Choice Determines Whether Research Travels” — is an Advanced Research Methods Workshop jointly convened by i-Lab (Innovation Lab), School of Management, Swansea University, United Kingdom, and the Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India.
Many capable scholars, particularly early-career and under-networked researchers, still lack exposure to the research methods that decide whether strong work gets heard. SDD 2026 exists to close that gap: in a single, fully online, 4-hour 30-minute session on 24 November 2026, invited scholars work directly with participants on the design choices, evidentiary standards, and judgement calls that decide whether marketing, information systems, and broader business research travels — built on the premise that the right methods follow the right questions, not the other way round. The workshop features four advanced masterclasses, opening remarks from both institutions, and is offered entirely free of charge, with a digital certificate of participation provided to all attendees.
