SCOTLIN2022 is the 1st Annual Conference of the Scottish Law and Innovation Network (SCOTLIN), a research network funded by The Royal Society of Edinburgh.
The theme of this year is "Sustainable Innovation, Law, and Policy in a Post-COVID World" but this is to be construed broadly and we welcome any work in progress that is related to the core mission of SCOTLIN.
Topics include, but are not limited to:
- Sustainable innovation, law, and policy in Scotland
- Innovation, law, and policy
- Technology, law, and policy
- Creativity, law, and policy
- Sustainability, law, and policy
- Innovation law, policy, and management: Scottish specificities
Submission Guidelines
Speakers are encouraged to submit and circulate in advance unpublished work in progress. This will allow for in-depth discussions and valuable feedback at the conference. There will be the option to the have the drafts peer reviewed by SCOTLIN members.
The non-submission of a draft paper due to workload or other constraints will not be a reason for exclusion.
Non-academic partners are not expected to submit a paper and will be grouped in a panel on "Law and Innovation in Scotland: Working with and outwith academia"
Deadlines
- Submission of the abstract: Friday 5th November 2021
- Publication of the conference programme: Friday 12th November 2021
- Submission of the paper (recommended): Monday 6th December 2021
- Please send gn12@stir.ac.uk the slides, if any, by Monday 3rd January 2022
