16. SAXSIM 2027 - Call for papers
Weitere Informationen finden Sie hier: www.saxsim.de.
- Modellbasiertes Systems Engineering
- Neueste Simulationsansätze (CAE/MKS/FEM/MBD/CFD) aus den Bereichen der Antriebstechnik, Maschinenelemente, Fertigung und Anlagenentwicklung
- Digitale Zwillinge zur Prozess- und Produktoptimierung

16. SAXSIM 2027 - Call for papers
The successful and cross-industry Saxon Simulation Meeting (SAXSIM) invites all scientists and practitioners to Chemnitz again in March 2026. Organized by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Chemnitz University of Technology and with technical support from the Chemnitz Institute of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, a comprehensive program awaits you in the field of CAD, CAE, simulation, and calculation. Starting in 2026, the conference will be supported for the first time by a program committee that will ensure the high quality of its content and the specific range of its expertise.
Our event is open to a broad audience of experts and users of CAD/MBS/FEM as well as all other simulation and software applications. The presentations provide insights into current research fields, there are continuing education workshops, and numerous best-practice examples from science and industry.
The conference program can be found here: www.saxsim.de.
We hereby invite you to submit a presentation at the 15th SAXSIM. Starting this year, you will also have the option of having your abstract reviewed by our expert program committee.
Topics
- AI applications to support the simulation process
- Integrated AI support in modeling and simulation software
- AI applications as virtual sensors, surrogate models, and evaluation methods
- Model-based systems engineering
- Latest simulation approaches (CAE/MKS/FEM/MBD/CFD) from the fields of drive technology, machine elements, manufacturing, and plant development
- Digital twins for process and product optimization
- Human-machine interaction (digital human model)
If you wish to have your contribution reviewed, please submit your abstract using the template provided here: Template for paper with review
Reviewed abstracts will be published in a separate conference proceedings volume.
